Shock Guard (ELCB + MCB)

Electrical Safety Device Co, Ahmedabad, has designed and developed a unique super sensitive protection device, Alert ELCB + MCB, which cuts off power supply within 30 milliseconds as soon as person gets an electrical shock. These current operated earth leakage circuit breakers are designed to provide protection against lethal electrical shock, short circuit, overload, and electrical fire and earth leakages. Following are the salient features of the instrument: leakages current sensitivity adjustable, LED indication, test button for correct functioning, power bypass facility, Hi-Lo voltage cut off, ELCB + MCB conforms to IS 8828 and IS 12640 1988, and built-in MCB having ISI mark. These guards are available for protection of single-phase supply as well as three-phase supply in 20 A to 63 A capacities for domestic, industrial and commercial premises. As per Indian Electricity rules 61 A-71 EE 1985 it is mandatory to use ELCB for low voltage installations above 5 kW as well as x-Ray and neon sign/luminous tube installations.
