It is made of muscovite mica paper impregnated with heat resistant epoxy resin & bonded with various supporting material like glass cloth, polyster film, Polyimide film. When it is subjected to heat & pressure, the resin flows & cures to make void free insulation. Resin rich is available with accelerator. Its application is in high voltage motor.
