PVC bus bar boots/shrouds are flexible, have high insulation properties, chemical and thermal resistance, can be made available in most intricate shapes. These are easy to install, remove and present aesthetic looks. Many MNC companies are using the same for insulating bus bar and switchgear joints. It is mandatory to use these shrouds in developed countries. These are available in different sizes for different applications. Ex-shroud for “T” joint, shroud for “L” joint, ring main unit cable end joint, shroud for bus bar raiser joint, shroud for “Y” phase, shroud for “B” joint are some of the standard shrouds available.
