Pre-Compressed Press Boards, Electrical Grade

Umang Boards has installed a latest high technique and fully computerised modern plant for manufacturing high quality Electrical Grade Insulation Pre-Compressed Press Boards made from imported sulphate softwood pulp. The company produces different grades of Press Boards conforming to different specifications of Bureau of Indian Standards and International Standards, viz., IEC 60641-3-1 (B-3.1), JIS C 2305, DIN 7733, BS 231-1975 and IS-1576 – 1992. In India the company caters to the requirements of manufacturers of transformers of all sizes and sophistication. The company also offers press boards to the overseas transformer manufacturers conforming to a wide variety of international standards, viz., IEC, DIN, JIS and BS. The company has a well equipped test laboratory which controls quality parameters both in the production process and in the finished product. Lastly, final inspection by Quality Control Department is done prior to despatch. Presently this is the only company in India with capability to produce non-metallic particle press boards, and further more, the press board length is in machine direction which gives them extra strength for strips, spacers and other components used in transformers.
