Power temple

Snehankit Electrical Engineers & Licensed Contractors offers power temple that uses FRP body thus avoiding electrical, thermal and corrosion problems. This unit occupies just 9 square metres (approximately 3 m x 3 m). Metering system is part of the power temple. Changing of the fuse can be done with ease and safety due to earthing switch. Power temple being enclosed enables rectification of faults even during rains and storms. The connection/disconnection takes place far away from the system, ensuring operator safety. Operation is by gear and the gear link is of hollow shaft. Contact settings do not get disturbed during operation. Underground cabling, bus bars with insulation, and the nut and bolt arrangement ensure that the bus bar will not snap. Painting is not required as the inside steel is galvanised and the outer fibreglass body is rustproof. Primary and secondary of CT/PT are totally enclosed preventing tampering and theft of electricity. Meter enclosure is tamper proof. Bus bars are made of copper and terminals are encased in high voltage (HS) sleeves. The front side gives easy access to the user. The doors will not open when Gang Operating Devices (GOD) is on. Tamper-proof backside of the power temple gives an exclusive access to the authorised electricity board personnel. Existence of light glass and sight glass enable checking the condition of contacts. LT breaker tripping facility can be provided for off-load isolation.
