Power Project Board

Ahmedabad-based Mahavir Instrumentation offers power project board, Model GEI 27, which is a versatile instrument extending the use of solder less breadboards. For all experiments it is necessary to have an external power supply to power the circuits, which means additional power supplies and consequently extra costs and space. The new power project board GEI 27 provides an economical solution to this problem. It consists of 3 regulated power supplies and a breadboard of 2220 tie points to cover the needs of almost all electrical circuits. It has 3 output voltages: +5 V (fixed) @ 1 A, +2 V to +15 V (variable) @ 500 mA and 2 V to -15 V @ 500 mA. The power supplies are protected against short circuit and overload. Adding further strips can extend the breadboards. It is provided with an input fuse for protection and an illuminated switch to indicate power "On". The board is supplied complete with a 1 metre input cable.
