Power Distribution Unit/System (PDU)

Elecon Measurements offers a Power Distribution Unit/System (PDU). This is multi channel measuring unit from single location. It has two parts: 1. Black box where 8- or 14-channel (3-phase each) measurement is done. This is generally mounted near the bus bar using DIN rail mounting. This can be programmed for single phase mode or three phase mode as it can store individual phase energy. 2. Display box where the measured values are temporarily stored and communicated to the external world using its communication port. The PDU comes with default 5 A version (40 A direct current version also available) where the primary is programmable for any values. Configurability of primary current makes ideal for any kind of industry or up gradation. Since the black box is mounted near the bus bar, wiring becomes simple and only one display unit is required for either 8- or 14-channel. All the parameters can be either viewed at display unit or at the PC. This requires less panel space, less wiring complexity and benefit in pricing and reliability.
