Passive distribution board for signal allocation in AS-Interface Networks

Phoenix Contact offers a passive five-way distribution board available for the economical connection of AS I- capable sensors and actuators, as well as M8 modules of the S line to the typical AS i ribbon cable. Via the M12 slots up to 2 A is supplied to the connected AS i components. The contact to the ribbon cables can be loaded with up to 8 A each. Two integrated diagnosis LEDs provides information on the state of the power supply. Correctly connected auxiliary and AS i voltage is indicated in green. Should these be polarity reversed, this is indicated with a red LED. The distribution board has a wide range of labelling possibilities. To protect against incorrect installation, the distribution board can be mechanically coded together with the matching mounting plate. The ribbon cable can be routed through the device with any desired orientation, enabling the installer to react flexibly to the cable routing.
