Bharat Electronics & Electricals manufactures a range of panel and switchboard instruments. The SM Group of instruments Comprises voltmeters and ammeters for both AC and DC ranges. Available in various models, the DC meters are of moving coil type, while the AC models are moving iron and moving coil rectifier type. All meters are of Class 1.5. The maximum range of DC ammeters is 10,000 amp with external shunt, and that of voltmeters, 600 V. The maximum range of AC meters is 100 A and 600 V, respectively. The meters are of highest accuracy and linearity, conforming to IS 1248-83 standards. Robust spring jewel and pivot suspension type movement offers highest level of stability and reliability. The scale reading is designed in a choice of numericals, captions and pointers, and is user-friendly. The meters are elegantly designed in ABS cover. Optional features: scale marking as per customer design; mirror scale; offset/centre zero; higher sensitivity; special calibration and accuracy; dual range instrument; and, heavier damping.
