Overvoltage Protection Module

The new Phoenix Contact SFP-Trab overvoltage protection module protects such sensitive devices as computers, audio and video systems, and high-quality measuring instruments in laboratories from destruction by overvoltage. The additional integrated filter circuitry limits high-frequency interference voltages from the main power net. The protection adapter can simply be plugged into a grounding outlet in front of the device to be protected. If a multi-outlet assembly is used, several devices can be connected to the protection adapter. The arrestor is designed for a nominal current of 10 A. A replaceable field fuse protects the module from too large working currents. Line voltage as well as faults conditioned by overvoltage are optically displayed.
