IMP Powers is one of the largest manufacturers of electrical measuring instruments and power and distribution transformers in India. To meet customer?s delivery requirements and to gear up production, the company has diversified into manufacturing of on load tap changers (OLTC), the system equipment, which is an integral component of transformer and useful for changing the taps without interrupting the supply. It manufactures custom-built supporting units like remote tap change control cubicle (RTCC) and fan cooling control cubicle (FCC). OLTC type HG-33/66 is a high speed transition resistance type, designed and manufactured as per IS: 8468. It is suitable for using in medium and large power transformers to obtain uninterrupted uniform system voltage. These OLTCs are suitable for use in 33 kV and 66 kV delta connected transformers and the 66 kV OLTC can also be used in neutral side of 132 kV class star connected transformers. Features ? OLTC type HG-33/66 on load tap changer (OLTC) is compact flange mounted comprising driving mechanism and high speed selector switch; local, manual and electrical control, with provision for remote electrical operation; designed for uni-directional power.
