The battery-operated motor analyser can be used to test electric motors even under difficult circumstances (e.g., when hanging on a crane). Owing to the great number of test methods and modern software analysis, supported by an optimal graphic display, the operator is able to make a clear ‘go/no go’ statement. The motor analyser for electric motors is the follow-up model for the reliable motor tester MTC1. The outcome is remarkable. The motor analyser can be used for many different testing tasks at stators, armatures, coils, electric motors and transformers. The following testing methods are integrated: turn-to-turn by probe, surge test with low voltage, high-voltage test DC, polarisation index, insulation and PE-resistance test, neutral-zone test for DC motors, sense of rotation test of the rotary field, field strength distribution test and resistance test.
