Modular Low-Voltage Systems

Ri4Power is Rittal’s integral system solution for fast and straightforward installation of low-voltage switchgear and for reliable operation of machinery and systems. The form-separated low-voltage distribution system Ri4Power Form 4 is the latest innovation to be added to the company’s portfolio. This type-tested innovation creates much faster, more reliable, IS/IEC-compliant switchgear with form separation up to form 4 and busbar systems up to 1,600 A. The company also offers Ri4Power Form 1 as high-current, low-voltage distribution systems and the Ri4Power ISV modular distribution enclosure system. A range of systematic low-voltage systems are available in the Ri4Power series. The protection of persons and equipment is improved significantly thanks to the new, modular form separation concept of the Rittal PS/TS 8 enclosures. Additional safety aspects are met with the Rittal RiLine60 busbar systems that can be designed for all-round encapsulation. The plastic parts in the busbar system are made of UL-listed material (UL94-V0), which means they are self-extinguishing. Ri4Power Form 2-4 separates logically individual areas physically for the first time. Ri4Power Form 4 has been type-tested to IS 8623 using the most common switchgear – for example, devices from ABB, Moeller, Schneider Electric and Siemens. The height of the individual compartments can be adjusted incrementally, starting at a height of just 150 mm. Another exceptional feature of Rittal’s Ri4Power Form 2-4 is its ease of assembly. It boasts a range of assembly aids and a high level of component functionality. All parts required for internal installation can be assembled by just one person. The graphical software Rittal Power Engineering can be used to plan and configure an entire low-voltage switchgear system. The software’s project-specific description texts and CAD displays provide planners and architects with just the support they need when designing a performance specification.
