Loop Powered Isolator

Radix Electrosystems Pvt Ltd offers a low-cost current-to-current loop powered isolator, LPI 50. It accepts an input of 4 to 20 mA and produces a 4 to 20 mA output with a transfer accuracy of 0. 1 %. The temperature coefficient of accuracy is 0.0 1% per C, and the input voltage drops less than 4.5 volts. Any load of 0 to 500 ohms can be connected to the output. The unit is then trimmed by the Load trim potentiometer. The input/output isolation is 1,500 V AC for I minute, and 250 V AC continuous. It is housed in DIN rail enclosure of 22 x 74 x 97 mm. A model with 0 to 20 mA input/output and superior model which does not require load trimming are also available.
