Hotline Washing Work At-Site

The insulators of lines & equipment’s are contaminated due to dust, birds droppings, chemical pollution, saline weather etc. The contaminated insulators are susceptible for flashover during humid atmosphere, dew or foggy weather etc. hence there is a need to clean it periodically. Ramelex designed and developed their own hot line washing system for washing of insulators of EHV lines & substations. The truck mounted hot line washing system is the first machine in India, which is tested at CPRI. This machine has four water jets which can deliver pressure up to 800 PSI. Water storage capacity is 2000 Ltr. Hot line washing has the same advantages like Hot line maintenance work i.e. No outage and No Revenue Loss. The company also have their very own DM plant which is capable of generating 2000 litres of water with almost zero conductivity.
