Swastika Industries offers a Energy Saving Device. It is a centralised lighting energy saving device that is available in 3 phases from 18 kVA to 550 kVA ratings. The equipment comes in a panel having voltmeter, ammeter, direct mode and energy saving mode switches, digital energy meter and with all necessary protections. This is to be connected with the lighting feeder through which the output voltage will be optimised by precisely maintaining the saturation current thus assuring the following benefits - guaranteed power saving of 20% and above on the lighting load; life of lamps will increase very substantially; and 100% depreciation in income tax can be claimed in 1st year of purchase. The waveform to load remains unmodified, crest is reduced and lower energy is transferred to load. The equipment regulates output true RMS voltage using static magnetic solid-state control. This is highly reliable buck regulator using magnetic amplifier technology, which is very advanced and effective. There is no use of active power electronics device like transistor, SCR in power circuit and there is no moving components thus ensuring the equipment to be trouble free with zero maintenance.
