Electric reels

Duplex make cable reeling drums are spring powered. The automatic rewind enables easily to supply the power to the moving machinery, ie, EOT cranes, electric hoists, etc. The drum revolves on a pair of ball bearings and the reel is almost maintenance free. Duplex cable reeling drums are extensively used for AC and DC applications. These reels are manufactured from heavy gauge steel, which does not get damaged, being very rugged. The slip ring arrangement is made from high conductivity bronze metal and the brushes are of very high-grade carbon, designed for 600 V AC. The springs used in these cable reeling drums are made from tested spring steel and have a very long life.
