Disconnect & Test Stud Terminal Blocks

Connectwell’s STH4DT and STH4DTSH disconnect and test terminal blocks combine the safety of lug connections with the ease of disconnect slide links. These terminal blocks are used for measuring, control and regulatory circuits with a clear functional advantage when used for connection of current transformers. A standard fork or ring lug (ferrule) can be terminated by tightening the captive nut in the stud type terminal. In the test stage, disconnection can be achieved by operating a side link placed in the centre of the terminal block with a screwdriver. The provision of separate testing point makes it easy to test and calibrate the attached meters without removing the current transformer wires. STH4DTSH terminal blocks have 2 STH4DT terminal blocks shorted to achieve switchable cross connection (on one side). Perfectly engineered to combine safety and ease, these terminal blocks are nothing but an extension of the company’s endeavour to simplify connections. Both STH4DT and STH4DTSH can accept connections of size 1.5-6 sq.mm; with 2-stud connection for the former and 4-stud connection (internally shorted) for the latter. The electrical rating for STH4DT is 41 A @ 800 V and 50 A @ 600 V. For STH4DTSH it is 10 A @ 800 V and 10 A @ 600 V.
