DC FAIL SAFE DISC BRAKES

Duplex Engineering Works offers Spring Loaded DC Fail Safe Disc Brakes. It is manufactured as per International Standards. It is with high operating frequency and reliability. Features: fast operating, no load slippage for crane duty; simple arrangement for adjustment of liner wear; brake hub and liner disc splined hence no jerks, soft start and soft stop; fast switching time, very easily replaces troublesome AC disc brakes; continuously rated, no coils burn-outs like AC brakes, hence less down time maintenance; brake provided with dust protecting rubber seal; the brake virtually requires no maintenance; compact size DC step down rectifier unit; very reasonably priced; and brake can be mounted in any position. DC switches of brakes: switching on DC side at nominal air gap and coil at nominal temperature enables short engagement and disengagement time. DC side switching requires provision of universal spark suppressor and capacitor to protect coil switches against damage. Speed of engagement/ disengagement depends on release distance (air-gap).
