Current Supply Systems

MM Engineers offers Current Supply Systems. It is most reliable and safe current supply system in current capacities 35 A, 80 A and 125 A for use in EOT cranes, monorail systems. Four conductor slots to accommodate 4 copper conductors are provided in the white PVC ducts. The temperature range is 30ºC to 60ºC. The anti reverse rib in the bottom in one way PVC duct ensures that the current collector can only be installed in one way thus preventing cross phasing. The duct of 3 m length is standard. For outdoor application epoxy coated ducts are available. The ducts are available for radius path with 409 mm, 942 mm and 1430 mm. PVC duct installation is supplied with continuous flat copper conductors to suit the system length, electrolytic copper conductors are suitable for 35 A, 80 A and 125A. Duct joint assembly is normally zinc plated for indoor application and zinc plated with epoxy coating and yellow passivated fasteners for the outdoor application. Current collectors are available for 4 conductors with current carrying capacity of 50 A and a parallel connection of current collectors can attain higher current capacity. The carbon brushes are positively located in the PVC ducts, which need no maintenance and give a longer life.
