Poweron Automations offers Current Limiter. On mains supply: CL allows full load current while mains supply is On; whereas it allows only essential load while generator supply is On and thereby functions as a current limiter. CL is preset and factory sealed for a specified current rating (between 200 W to 25,000 W on either 230 V or 440 V AC supply) on generator terminal and if the consumption exceeds the preset value the circuits get tripped. Current limiter feature is pre-determined and factory sealed thus ensures sharing of load evenly amongst all units. On generator supply: if the current consumption is not brought below the preset value, the CL will again trip after 8/15 seconds. This cycle normally continues. However, the CL can be programmed to go into sleep mode beyond 6 cycles of attempts, in the event of the non-essential loads not getting switched off. The CL would then need to be reset by pressing push button, provided in the equipment to make it functional again. So it is expected to immediately switch-off all the non-essential loads of the premises when there is Mains power failure in order to utilise the Generator load. On occurrence of mains power failure, the CL allows a specified preset Time Delay before sensing and automatically changes over to generator source current. This time interval could be in varied steps between 8 to 15 seconds. On resumption of supply of mains, the CL will normally changeover automatically back to the main source, immediately. The single phase ACCL is enclosed in ABS FR grade thermoplastic housing suitable for DIN mounting. (size: 72 x 68 x 110 mm). Three phases ACCL is enclosed in aesthetically made sheet metal enclosure (using CNC turret punch press and NC press brake facilities), providing for sufficient air vents.
