Current Injectors

Udeyraj & Sons offers Current Injector. Almost all electricity supply protective equipment is fed from a current transformer on the supply cable or busbar. Primary current injection testing checks all the components of the protective system. A high-test current, enough to cause the protection equipment to operate is, injected into the supply cable. Time taken for the protection relay to operate is then measured. Udey series PCT is essential when commissioning new protection systems and after major repair and component replacement, since it tests the whole system. Series PCT conducts timing tests on protective devices, current transformer ratio testing, etc. Standard models with continuously variable, isolated and distortion free output up to 500, 1000, 2000 and 3000 A are available. Besides the PCT can also be used for secondary testing up to 100 A. The loading transformers are heavy duty and double wound. Output metering is on digital LED display. Time interval system is solid state, crystal base and multi-range. The series PCT are portable, sturdy and built in powder coated sheet steel cabinets.
