Current Arrestor For Low-Resistance Power Supply

The new Flashtrab FLT Plus lightning current arrestor from Phoenix Contact has been designed for use in low-resistance power supply systems. The special characteristics of the Flashtrab FLT Plus is the high quenching capacity of line follow currents. This means that the surge arrestor can also be used in the direct vicinity of low-voltage transformers. Since the arrestor serves as a "current brake", it makes sure that even fuses with small nominal values are not blown by the minimal line follow current in the arrestor. This is particularly of advantage to devices with low connection values or low input fuses. The product has a horn gap with baffle plate.
