Tests on Load Tap Changers

Crest Technology offers AutoScan TC Series as per IEC-214: DIN rack versions along with accessories like programmable power supplies, torque transducer amplifiers, etc. The auto scans are constructed in DIN 41494 rack versions, also in work-table version and designed to test changeover and divertor type OLTCs of ratings up to 400kV.
Test conducted on:

• Transition timings of tap change for 3 phases simultaneously for all taps in forward and reverse direction.
• Measurement of torque of operating shaft, with torque transducer and conditioning amplifier
• Tests on Tap position indicator
• Supply voltage variation on motor at lower, rated and higher supply voltage
• Measurement of motor current and spring charging time
• HV Insulation Test –2 kV on secondary circuit
