Automatic power factor controller

Systems & Controls offers automatic power factor controller, Series HFI, in different types from a low cost 3 step controller to very high tech controllers. HFI 66 Sycon APFC displays all the parameters such as PF, shortfall Kvar, voltage, current, THD, and mode all at a time. On demand it displays the %harmonic from 3rd to 13th. It has the built-in facility to cutoff the system in case of harmonic overload beyond set limits. On demand the individual capacitor status also can be seen such as original capacitor value, present capacitor value, number of switching operations, and faulty condition if de rated below 60 % of original value. In this high tech model it is not necessary to set c/k as in other controllers as it automatically adjusts c/k and takes best fit capacitor in fifo mode. It has also a password protection for setting which most of the controllers do not provide. It has the built in test mode, which enables to test the panel without CT current. In its optional feature logging of all above parameters is possible at an interval of 30 minutes and can be easily interfaced to any computer with serial communication.
