Antistatic LDPE Films

Om Engineers offers Antistatic LDPE Films. It is a non-toxic and non-hazardous product based on the principles of antistat. It incorporates permanent antistatic compounds, which provide maximum protection for a very long duration to sensitive instruments and equipments like PCBs, medical equipments from getting damaged due to static charge generated within film or surroundings. Unique antistats migrate to the film surface after polymerization and prevent build-up of static charge during transportation or prior to final use. It promotes decay or dissipation of electricity. It also prevents accumulation of dust and possibility of attracting other plastic items. It is available in the form of sheets, bags and rolls. Specifications: tearing strength is 100-115 gm/25 microns; resistance to aging is non-declaminating; transparency as good as normal film; surface resistivity is 10^8 to 10^9 ohm/sq; static shielding ability is over 60000 volts; and static charge is nil even from a very close distance and even after two years. Applications: for packing of populated PCBs; sensitive electronic devices; finished electronic components and assemblies; for packing gelatin capsules; and as a liquid packing medium for preventing solvents from catching fire, while stored in drums.
