Extech International, Singapore, offers Models 7110 and 7120 withstand voltage testers. The essential electrical features have all been included, but only a few nice-to-have features have been removed, thereby making it cost-effective. The testers perform withstanding voltage test for various safety compliance test standards such as UL, CSA, BS, VDE, CE, AS, etc. These testers are microprocessor-based with digital design to ensure good voltage regulation and safety considerations. Another useful feature is the built-in high voltage discharge function and the testers can be easily integrated into an automated production process with built-in remote I/0 connector. Calibration is easy and fast and is done through the built-in firmware.
