Bright Stars Electronics has developed a solid state po-tentiometer. The unit has an adjustable full scale output voltage of 5 to 12 volts DC, and has a facility to hold the previously set data for a period of 10 years, even in case of power failure. The increase/decrease push switches are provided on front panel. In Turbo On mode the full scale output is reached within six seconds and in Turbo Off mode, 30 seconds. A 3-digit, 7-segment LED display is provided to indicate 0.00 to 99.9% variation. The unit is housed in a standard 96 x 96 mm wall/panel mounting type enclosure and works on 440/230 V AC mains. It is useful for DC drive controllers, heat controllers, etc, and maintains the same output status even when the power fails and comes up again.
