Peak Voltage Tester For Fluorescent Lamp Glow Starter

Universal Lighting Industries has developed peak voltage tester for measuring the peak voltage produced by glow starters for fluorescent lamps. The measuring technique utilised gives results precisely as desired in IS:2215-1983. The instrument has built-in variac and voltmeter to provide continuously variable voltage up to 270 V. Simultaneous display of both positive and negative peaks is facilitated by independent meters. This instrument can also be used to measure non-reclosure voltage of the starters. It is an ideal quality control tool for starter and luminaire manufacturers.
