Million Megohmmeter

Sivananda offers an indigenous Electronic Million Megohmmeter designed to test insulation resistance of capacitors, cables, motors, generators, transformers, transformer oils, rubber, bushings, switchgear, etc, as per IS Specifications which can match the performance of international brands. The instrument provides stable readings in gigaohm and teraohm region even when measuring insulation of highly capacitive test pieces such as cables, power capacitors and high voltge transformers. Spot test voltage or continuously variable test voltage from 50 V to 10 kVDC are available. Some of the salient features of this meggar are pushbutton controls for rapid testing, wide measurement range from 1 megaohm to a 100 million megaohms, fully protected against all types of overload, completely solid state circuitry hence drift-free operation (0.001% short term drift). Guard terminal is provided and suitable for testing grounded objects. This meggar is available in 7 models with different test voltages to cover all the applications in electrical and electronics industries. The instrument conforms to Intemational Standards and has been accepted all over India. More than 1000 units are in operation.
