Measurement Of Voltage Deviations

Current harmonics and voltage deviations (flicker) caused by electrical loads, their non-linear current voltage characteristics and varying power demand influence the mains and may disturb them. For this reason the emitted current harmonics and released voltage deviations have to be within the limits given by the standards IEC 1000-3. For these measuring purposes the new compact Precision-Power-Meter LMG95 by ZES Zimmer Electronic Systems has been equipped with harmonic analysis and in addition a real flicker meter according to IEC868 is incorporated.
