Kilowatt-Hour Meter

IMP Powers offers a kilowatt-hour meter that is suitable to measure the energy of single phase or three phase system balanced or unbalanced load in power industry. The measured energy is indicated by: a 6-digit impulse counter in 'electro-mechanical display meter' or by seven-segmented 6-digit LED display provided on front side of the meter in 'LED display meter'; ‘flashing On LED’ on the fascia to indicate energy counting, and 'Red LED' glow in case of wrong wiring polarities or leading power factor or reverse power. Both these meters are provided with pulse output, and can be connected to a remote unit such as data logger, PLC, DCS, etc. On request, port of RS-485 output can also be provided to interface with PC, SCADA, etc., using MODBUS RTU protocol for communication. It is possible to monitor 120 meters on a single network. The meter is provided with non re-settable counter, and shroud on the terminals for sealing to prevent external tampering of wiring sequence.
