Eddy current adjustable dynamometer

Powermag, a simple eddy current adjustable dynamometer, is a totally new concept in dynamic load system for accurate testing applications of all type of electric motors, engines and other rotating machinery. The need for a dynamic load system, which allows flexibility of applications in an economical way, has been felt for a long time as the ideal solution for such applications. These dynamometers are widely used in technical education institutions, research and development laboratories, quality control in industry, defence organisations... for accurate analysis of power, torque, speed, fuel and lubrication consumption and quick pass/fail testing of all type of electric motors, engines and other rotating machinery"s. Standard accessories include: 200 mm diameter pulley fitted on the output shaft of dynamometer; spring balance weighing gear; Love Joy couplings to interconnect prime mover and dynamometer; MS channel iron base plate to install the dynamometer and the prime mover; angle iron stands attached with bed plate to install the spring balance weighing gear; and steel rope to interconnect spring balance weighing gear and pulley. The range covers 5 to 100 HP ratings.
