Nippen Electrical Instruments Co., offers digital insulation tester, DIT-D series. This is a battery operated compact precision grade insulation tester housed in a robust and shockproof ABS casing. This finds application in electrical contracting, domestic as well as industrial, DoT, defence, cable manufactures, transformers and motor manufactures, etc. It is ideal for testing insulation resistance of transformers, motors, generators, switchgears, cables, power tolls etc. as well as fixed wiring systems, by virtue of its capability to take fast readings it is well suited to test relays, switches and contractors. It can also be used for QA checks of PCBs, capacitors and other insulating and dielectric materials. Features: 31/2 digit 17 mm LCD display; high accuracy (?3 rdg, ?dgt); single person push button operation and easy to use; designed to generally confirm to IS 10656-1993; meets requirement IEC 1010; installation category II, 1000V phase - earth; terminal voltage more than 85% of rated voltage for insulation resistance measurement from 10% to 100% of the insulation resistance range; 5 models with various voltage and M ohms ranges; convenient, shoulder strap carrying case; and stand provided for bench mounting.
