Prestige Electronics offers a Digital Mega Ohm Meter. Specifications - display: 31/2 digit, 12.5 mm red LED display; power: 230 V AC ±10 per cent, 50/60 Hz; over range indication: blanking of all digits except MSD; under range indication: lighting of decimal points (or LED); and guard: avoids spurious leakage current flowing in measurement set up. It is used for accurate, reliable, and predictable insulation resistance measurement of cables, capacitor rotating machines, switchgear items, electrical appliances, insulating components, volume and surface resistivity of solids, liquids, insulating materials, films, sheets etc. These are available in various models to suit various industrial applications. Test voltage extended has extremely low ripple, high stability, and short circuit current is less than 2 mA. Instrument can be operated in earthed or floating mode.
