Conductive Plastic Potentiometers

Uni-Automation has introduced a new model conductive plastic potentiometer, Type P-22C and P-40C. The unit has a stable, precision formed conductive plastic resistance element, housed in an aluminium machined casing. The terminals are brought out on a machined gold plated stud on the back plate. The 1/4" diameter shaft is available in stainless steel with or without seal corresponding to the rotating torque required. The resistance values are from 1 K to 1 megohm with tolerance of +20%. The linearity is +1% standard. Special resistance values and non-standard electrical function angles can be offered for good quantity requirements. The rotation angle (electrical) is 340o standard. Both continuous rotation and with stopper versions are available. Mounting variations include 3/8" dia UNEF threaded bushing mount and servo mounting. Applications are for critical feedback, operations, long life instrumentation and where low noise is required.
