Matrix Series ASYC II multimeters deliver unparalleled performance and safety features. Models MX54 provide most measurements which are normally needed in production and service applications. The Series ASYC II digital multimeters offers true RMS AC and DC measurements of waveforms. The meters have a basic DC accuracy of 0.025% and bandwidth of 100 kHz, as well as autoranging voltage and current capabilities. Advance safety features include waterproof casing and dust sealing to IP677 Standards, while testlead retainers prevent leads from being accidentally disconnected. A separate battery compartment prevents contamination of the electronic circuitry from any accidental leaks from the battery. Other safety features include 600 V fuses, metal oxide varistors, and voltage ranges protected against transients up to 6 kV. All these safety features make the Series ASYC II unique. The basic features include: autoranging, analogue bargraph, backlight LCD, dB and REL measurements, temperature measurement, mains disturbance indication, diode-continuity testing, and print facility using RS232 optional interface. The internal memory provides retention of readings in Max-Min-AV modes. Hold function provides readings to freeze on display. All meters are recalibrated digitally through a serial interface without opening the DMMs.
