Billets Elektro Werke Ltd offers Tubular Circuit Breaker Cable Lugs. As the name suggest these lugs are specially made for terminating large cables to circuit breakers. Since flash over distance is reduced, the connecting tunnels in breakers have become narrower. Thus fitting lugs in 150 A to 250 A breakers has become a problem because the palms of the conventional lugs are too wide. To counter this problem the company uses a special extrusion process to make a narrow palm that can easily be inserted in the connecting tunnel. The lugs also have a bell-mouth on the barrel opening to facilitate easy-entry of the conductor. Incorporated in 1990, Billets Elektro Werke Pvt Ltd is engaged in the manufacturing of cable lugs, connectors and crimping tools, using copper and aluminium as the key raw materials.
