Multipole Industrial Connector

Multipole industrial connectors (MIC) are designed for heavy-duty industrial applications and are suitable for AC and DC currents. These connectors are extensively used in installation and maintenance of electric parts in electrical, electronics, machinery, robotics, control panels and wherever connections are required for power, control and signal circuits. These connectors are UL and CSA approved, and are CE marked. The connector comprises of two parts: 1. Inserts – male and female inserts are made of self extinguishing thermoplastics (conforming to flammability grade UL 94 VO) and can be used from -40°C to +125°C. Contacts are made of silver plated copper alloy and wired are terminated with captive stainless steel screws or crimping terminals. These inserts are numbered on both sides by laser printing and are polarized for correct mating. 2. Enclosures – the enclosures are made of die cast aluminium alloy with the finish of epoxy polyester powder or in self-extinguishing thermoplastic. The coupling stability and protection against accidental opening are ensured by single or double locking system comprising of mono block lever in stainless steel, springs and pegs in stainless steel or plastic. By virtue of design these enclosures offer excellent resistance to impact and strong mechanical stresses.
