Amtech Electronics (India) offers Axpert VT230S digital variable frequency drive. This can serve as V/F control variable torque or constant torque drive, sensorless vector control drive, close loop vector control drive as well as permanent magnet motor drive. The drive has outstanding features like complete protection to motor against over current/single phasing due to current sensing in all the three phases, adaptive control of carrier frequency between 1 kHz to 15 kHz to suit the motor and inverter, wide frequency range from 0.1 Hz to 440 Hz, reliable operations with compatibility with CE and UL standards, user friendly operating console and so on. The drive has built in PID controller, it can also control up to 6 fans/pumps working in parallel, with On/Off control of 5 fans/pumps and one fan/pump operating with variable frequency control. The drive can control one main motor and one auxi1iary motor which can work alternatively, in application like crane having two motors: one for vertical movement and other for horizontal movement. The drive can generate multiple speed versus time patterns internally, suitable for ring spinning frame or traverse pattern generation. Thus, it is an "all-in-one" drive suitable for various applications like textile, rayon, boiler ID/FD fans and applications like cargo handling and steel rolling where vector control is required.
