Kudamm Corporation offers variable frequency drives and PLC of ABB make available in different versions to suit requirements of application. The Comp-AC range covers 0.12-37 kW, it comprises product types ACS 100, ACS 140 and ACS 400. A selection of pre-set macros ensures fast commissioning, all macro-specific parameters are automatically configured. The factory application macro is intended for applications where the drive is used without a control panel. These find application in HVAC, PID, pump and fan control, and the model is available in 1-phase/3-phase mains connection. DTC (direct torque control) which is ultimate in AC motor control performance the ACS 600 performs precise sped and torque control of standard squirrel cage motors, ensuring the overall effectiveness of a drive which is limited by the performance of the motor not the frequency converter. This ensures: motor starting torque up to 200% of nominal torque; accurate open long torque control; torque step rise time typically less than 5 ms; speed control inaccuracy typically 0.1% to 0.5% of nominal speed; factory setting for basic industrial applications; hand/auto control for local and remote operation; PID control for closed loop processes; and user macro 1 and 2 for users own parameter settings.
