Minilec, an ISO 9001 company, manufactures products for electric control circuits, power distribution, motor controls, etc. The company has recently introduced variable frequency AC drives. These are high performance general purpose inverters that incorporate a high efficiency pulse width modulation (PWM) and IGBT technology. The output closely approximates a sinusoidal current waveform to allow variable speed control of any conventional squirrel cage induction motor. It provides multi-function input and output, protection for over voltage, momentary power loss, and heat sink over heating, with a choice of up to 125 functions.
