Drillmagic is a variable speed controller for drilling machines developed by Computer Controlls Corporation under their brand Versa Drives, for drilling machines up to 2 HP. This controller can be installed easily without any modification to the drilling machine. By turning a knob provided in the front panel, the drilling speed could be varied effortlessly. There is a switch provided for selection of direction of rotation and stopping. The controller has built-in protection from over-voltage, under-voltage, overload and over temperature. A variation in this model has a digital display for showing speed and other messages. For this purpose a speed sensor is to be attached to the spindle. This controller works with a supply voltage of 230 V AC or 110 V AC, single phase. By connecting this controller, a drilling machine becomes more versatile.
