PFI Panel


PFI Panels incorporate Intelligent Power Factor Controllers, low loss Capacitors, Capacitor Duty Contactors, MCB and MCCB to provide a comprehensive solution for measurement and improvement of the power quality with lower payback periods.
Depending on the load variation, the PFI Panel automatically switches the externally/internally installed capacitor ON or OFF to bring it to the desired or preset value of power factor.
This integrated management of the load power factor results in enhanced power quality as well as other benefits like:

Capacitor Bank Sizes

The PFI Panel is designed in a binary sequence so that a large number of combinations are available for a given set of contactors. An intelligent banking pattern provides all the combinations needed to achieve the preset target without hunting, thereby increasing the life of the contactors and capacitors.
 
Switching In & Switching Out
Thyristor switching provides rapid ON/OFF switching of capacitors and quick achievement of set PF targets. This also enhances the contactors and capacitors life.
 
Models
Conzerv PFI Panels are available for ratings from 30 kVAr to 500 kVAr.
 
PFI-kVAr value/MCB/AM
This model comprises of main MCCB/MCB, individual MCB for each capacitor bank and Capacitor duty contactors, capacitors, Intelligent Power Factor Controller with auto and manual facility

The PFI Panels come with a No-volt release feature to immediately disconnect all capacitors in the event of power failures, detection and display of over-voltage, over-current, harmonics and power factor under compensation
