Fume Enclosures

Misonix Inc offers their new "Drive-In"fume enclosure. This allows personnel to work with large amounts of powders and chemicals while protecting them from harmful fumes and particulates. The fume enclosure's design allows large containers, such as 55 gallon drums, to be easily moved in and out of the enclosure and is ideal for transferring materials- from container to container. Perfect for clean room applications, the unit eliminates hazardous fumes and vapors and conforms to all OSHA requirements. This may also be custom configured for a wide variety of applications. The enclosures feature an electrostatically charged pre-filter, which protects the main filter from particle contamination, collecting particles down to 0.5 micron. The unit can accommodate a variety of easily replaceable filters to handle the most difficult contaminants. Airflow rates are adjustable from 0 - 130 FPM. Both HEPA and Carbon filter options are available, and the unit's ductless design and wheels make installation and portability easy and inexpensive. Other features are audible and visual alarms indicating reduced airflow, filter condition, blower failure, and maximum time allowance. Also an LCD display indicates airflow, filter condition, and filter type in use.
