Elmatronik Sales Corporation offers the XP Series of Hand-Held Enclosures from PacTec, with a modern ergonomic design. These plastic enclosures are suitable for housing hand-held instruments, controls, test equipment, medical devices, scientific instruments, consumer audio and video electronics, automated devices and much more. The long sides of the enclosures are slightly curved and have a bevelled top and bottom for style and comfort. The housings include a blank end panel, which can be used for connectors, displays, or LEDs. The XP series also includes a recessed top cover area appropriate for keypads, overlays, and membrane switches. The XP and XPL are available with an optional 9 V battery compartment. The XPM is available with an optional 2AA and 9V battery compartment. The XP and XPM are available with option Rubber Boots. PacTec can work with users to create the products they want by offering modification and customisation services to any of their off-the-shelf enclosures. These services include machined openings, custom features moulded in using custom inserts, custom materials, custom colours, shielding, vents, hardware, printing, overlays, membrane switches, etc. One can customise design from over 300+ standard models. Since 1978 PacTec has provided standard enclosures for small quantity projects, insert moulded standard enclosures for mi-quantity projects, and total custom enclosures for high quantity projects.
