Krystal Metal Solutions offers a wide variety of Weld Nuts and Weld Studs. Stud/nut welding is a form of spot welding where a bolt or specially form nut is welded onto another metal part. Weld studs are used in stud welding systems. Capacitor discharge weld studs range from 14 gauge to 3/8” diameter with lengths ranging from 6 mm to 125 mm (subject to availability). The weld time in this process is between 1 and 6 milliseconds. Weld nuts are available in size M4 to M12 in material steel and stainless steel.
