Torsional Elements

Techno Talent offers Torsional Element. This combines the function of a spring damper and bearing in one unit. The element is constructed out of 4 special pretension elastomer inserts, the core and the surrounding housing. This assembly forms an integral spring device. Various types of elements have been engineered from this basic unit, which has applications ranging from the ordinary to the highly specialised. Tensioners, suspension elements, oscillating elements, self-tensioning motor bases are few examples. When employed as an oscillating element they can be used for angles of oscillation up to ±30°. The dampening effect of the spring, caused by the molecular friction within the rubber inserts lies in the ideal range of approx of 20% of the impact or input vibration. This element have no metal-to-metal contact and hence the operation is completely noiseless and maintenance free. It offers optimum noise absorption and efficient vibration reduction in all kinds of machines. This element is unaffected by mud, water, dir, salt sunlight and can withstand temperatures from -40°C to 80°C. By virtue of its standardised and modular construction the Rosta suspension element can be employed in practically all spheres of modern machine construction as elastic torsion springs, pivotal bearings and oscillation dampers, shock absorbers, etc. The application is limited only to ones imagination. The application of the Rosta element, simplifies the design and reduces the production time for machines.
