Zago Mfg Co offers electronic-equipment fasteners. They are designed with a groove under the head to accommodate a rubber O-ring that, when compressed , a complete seal and permits full metal-to-metal contact. The fasteners provide an air-tight, leak-proof seal against liquids, air, and other gases, They can be removed from equipment and reused without spoiling the sealing action. Made of 18-8 stainless steel, the fasteners are passivated per QQP-35. Screws in nominal sizes of #4 through 1/4-20 are available. The O-ring element is available in various materials including silicone, fluoro silicone, and Buna.
