Avdel (India) offers Blind Riveting Tool. This riveting tool has been designed to place 1/8", 5/32" and 3/16" diameter Avex rivets. It is essential to use the correct nose tip for the diameter of rivet to be placed to ensure the best performance of the tool. The diameter of the rivet for which each nose tip is suitable is marked on it. Operation: extend the hand tool fully and insert the rivet stem into the nose tip hole until its head rests on the nose tip. Put the rivet shank into the pre-drilled hole of the work piece so that the underside of the head is flush with the work piece. Push the handle for a complete stroke so that the linkages are closed. The rivet stem will normally break in one stroke and the rivet will be set. If the rivet stem does not break the first time, pull the handle so that the linkages open out and push the nozzle up to the rivet head for another stroke. Remove the stem from the tool by extending the linkages. The stem will drop freely from the front of the tool. Safety instructions: this tool shall only be used to install the appropriate range of fasteners. It shall at all times be operated in accordance with recognised safe workshop practice.
